Melanoma Awareness Walk 2015
Join the 4th Annual Sun Safety Event!
Are you ready to lace up those walking shoes and get outside again? We are too! Join us on Saturday, April 11, 2015 for our 3-mile Walk and Learn as we stroll around the beautiful Olmsted-designed, Mercer County Park and get the latest information on how to Live SunSmart every day. It will be a fun-filled day including a chance to ask experts in their field questions such as "How much sunscreen is enough?" Each participant will receive a goodie bag stuffed with sun safety information, sunscreen samples, coupons and more. They will also receive a T-shirt and have the opportunity to enter the raffle for a chance to win one of many fabulous prizes including sporting event tickets, movie tickets, theatre tickets, sun protective clothing and much more! Sunkissed Airbrush tanning will be with us to spray tan anyone looking for a safe beautiful facial glow. Light munchies afterwards provided by Acacia.
All proceeds will benefit the Live SunSmart Foundation and The White Aisle Foundation. The Sun Safety Walk & Learn is hosted by Princeton Center for Dermatology. Join us for a guaranteed good time for the whole family (dogs, too!) while learning about good SunSmart behaviors!
Get Everyone Involved - Come as a Team!
Sun Safety Walk & Learn is a great team building and community service opportunity. Your scout troop, frat, sorority or service club can sign up for the event and participate as a team. By walking as a group, you can make really good things happen. Firstly, you will be raising funds to support the two organizations and their missions. As importantly, you will help raise awareness of melanoma and be learning, firsthand, how to reduce your exposure to UV rays which you can then pass on to your friends and family.
